Vacancy on BJOT Editorial Board
A vacancy has arisen on the editorial board of the British Journal of Occupational Therapy (BJOT) at an extremely important time in the journal’s development.
BJOT is the only monthly peer-reviewed international occupational therapy journal, and publishes high quality international research and practice-related papers that contribute to the evidence base of the profession and which encourage scholarly discussion and debate.

The January issue of BJOT is now available online at IngentaConnect, which members can access here. This month’s issue includes articles on mental health, stroke, children with developmental disorders, older people and hand deformity, as well as thesis abstracts, letters to the editor, book reviews and a vacancy on the Editorial Board.
December issue of BJOT now available online
The December issue of BJOT is now available online at IngentaConnect, which members can access here.
This month’s issue includes articles on clinical practice, OT-APST, spinal cord injury, handedness, using Facebook professionally and a review of mental health services, as well as a call for papers and letters to the editor.

BJOT Call for Papers: Participation in Occupations Across the Lifespan
The Editorial Board of the British Journal of Occupational Therapy will publish a special issue in winter 2012/13 on the topic of ‘Participation in Occupations Across the Lifespan’. This special issue will provide a forum to present contemporary research about participation patterns and the measurement of participation for specific populations. As well, we will welcome critical analysis of the meaning and dimensions of participation and debate relating to the relationship between participation in occupations and health and wellbeing.
