BAOT encourages all members to be advocates for the profession
The College is involved in ongoing strategic activities to promote the profession
Strategic activity includes working with:
- government Ministers and Assembly Members
- government agencies in all countries e.g. Department of Health
- voluntary organisations
- other membership organisations
- private sector organisations
- Allied Health Professions Federation
- Other health and social care professional groups
- All Party Parliamentary Groups
Current activity includes:
- mental health
- vocational rehabilitation
- transforming community equipment services
- adult social care workforce
- learning disabilities
- children and young people
