Role of the Regional and Speciality Groups
- To develop a regional and speciality network of Occupational Therapists and support workers in Orthopaedics, Trauma and Prosthetics in order to advance knowledge and provide support at a more local level.
- To promote continuing professional development through study sessions, meetings and sharing of ideas and practices on a more regular basis than can be managed nationally.
- To advise the Committee of emerging issues which relate to good practice in Occupational Therapy in Trauma, Orthopaedic and Prosthetic fields which may be of interest to the wider membership.
- To provide information for the Newsletter of activity and events within the Regional and Speciality Group
