Membership is open to qualified Occupational Therapists (OTs), students, OT assistants, and educational establishments in the UK and overseas. Membership is encouraged for all OTs who have an interest in Rheumatology. The College of Occupational Therapists Specialist Section – Rheumatology also welcomes corporate members.
Benefits of Membership
- A bi-annual journal is produced which includes journal articles, service reviews and developments, practical ideas and innovations; and reports on conferences and study days.
- A yearly two day conference and AGM. Ideas for conference/study days are welcomed from members.
- Access to a range of resources held by the resources officer.
- Discretionary bursaries are available to assist with research etc.
- Access to national network of OTs working in Rheumatology.
The membership year runs from 1st October to 30th September.

- BAOT members (must include BAOT number to qualify for this) - £25
- Non-BAOT members - £30
- OT Students - £15
- BAOT Assistants - £15
- Non-BAOT Assistants - £20
- Educational Establishments/ Other professional bodies - £40
- Corporate membership - £120
Membership is divided into nine regions, each of which organises meetings and/or study days and are a source of local support.
