Membership 2008 - 2009
1.Professional Member – (BAOT/COT Member)
To be eligible for this membership you must be a member of BAOT/COT.
This fee includes full and part-time members.

2.Student Member
This category includes all students who are undergoing a course within the United Kingdom and approved by Council, leading to a recognised occupational therapy degree. This does therefore include all OT students.

3.Associate Member
(Technical Instructor, OT Assistant/Helper, classroom support assistants, personal carers, etc.)
This category is for members who are not eligible for HPC registration but are supervised by an occupational therapist who is eligible for professional membership.

4.Overseas Membership
This is for Occupational therapists who are not resident within the UK.

5. Affiliate Membership
This category is for any professional member of another discipline. i.e. planning officer, housing officer.
Occupational Therapists may not join under this category.

6.  Collective Membership
This membership scheme is for up to 5 members to join as individuals, whilst benefiting from a cheaper collective membership rate by joining at the same time. Individual membership forms should be completed, (except the payment details). These forms should then be clipped to the 'Summary Sheet' (see membership page on website)  together with one single cheque payment of £150, or completion of details for internet payment.

7. Honorary Membership
Honorary members can only be elected by the executive specialist section committee and is not a joining membership category.
Honorary membership entitlements are for a two year period and members are entitled to attend and vote at the AGM during the membership period.
Honorary members have to pay to attend study days and conferences.

Membership Introductory Discount Scheme

For every new member you introduce in 2008/2009 you will receive a £5 discount. So introduce a colleague and take advantage of this scheme. Please be sure to complete your name and membership number, as the introducing member, before returning the application form. The £5 discount will be off 2009/2010 membership year.

Please make cheques payable to COTSS-Housing. We will always send a receipt for all subscriptions received.
