Regional & Local Groups
Your local and regional BAOT professional network is pivotal to your continuing professional development
When you join BAOT you are instantly a member of your BAOT region based on your home address. Each region is supported by a committee of volunteer members who are nominated annually to support local and regional events, networking groups and activities, sharing of best practice and information to and from the College of Occupational Therapists.
Being a member of your region enables you to take advantage of opportunities to build strong networks to further your own professional development and the growth of the profession as a whole.
Find out more about your regional group:
- learn how OTs creatively use their skills and passion to develop a vision for their service;
- establish the basics of how to write a good business plan;
- explore how to get measurable results and use these to promote your service.
Regional committees are a great way to engage with your professional community and develop your career aspirations.
There are currently vacancies in all regions for a variety of roles. Add to your professional profile, make a difference, be ambassadors for your profession and become an active member of your regional group.
