Regional & Local Groups
Your local and regional BAOT professional network is pivotal to your continuning professional development
When you join BAOT you are instantly a member of your BAOT region based on your home address. Each region is supported by a committee of volunteer members who are nominated annually to support local and regional events, networking groups and activities, sharing of best practice and information to and from the College of Occupational Therapists.
Being a member of your region enables you to take advantage of opportunities to build strong networks to further your own professional development and the growth of the profession as a whole.

BAOT looks to enthusiastic members to volunteer to put on local events, meet and develop local groups and enjoy the networking and social gatherings of being part of a vivacious group of likeminded professionals.
If you're interested in committing up to two hours per month to doing something new and exciting for your profession, why not nominate yourself for a BAOT regional committee vacancy. All of the roles of the BAOT regional committees are supported by the COT membership development team, including training, resources and written support for members to evidence CPD and commitment to employers.
