Up-to-date information on BAOT student membership following changes to funding arrangements

Due to changes in funding many occupational therapy students will be required to pay for their own membership of the British Association of Occupational Therapists (BAOT). Some Higher Education Institutions will continue to pay for their students' membership of BAOT and some will not. To find out whether this change affects you please download the document below.NSD login

What do I do next?

Click here to activate your BAOT student membership!

Instructions on how to use the National Student Database (NSD) can be found at the top of the log-in page.

More information about BAOT student membership will be given to you by your university.   A representative from the College of Occupational Therapists should be visiting your university to provide an overview of the role of BAOT – your professional association – and explain membership further.

The National Student Database will also enable you to keep your contact details up-to-date throughout your time as a student ensuring you will not miss out on the latest membership benefits or news.

How much does it cost to become a BAOT student member?

Your BAOT student membership will cost £72 per year (£6 per month). This cost is highly subsidised as we recognise the financial restrictions students are under.
