The Challenge
Lockdown was going to have a significant impact on the people we support, adults with learning disabilities and autism in supported living and registered care, changing their daily routines and restricting their normal activities and behaviours.
The Change
I created a range of resources including collating ideas of activities that could be done at home, communication resources to support these activities and easy read resources for COVID & lockdown to help them understand the changes taking place.
The Impact
Staff in services were able to access the resources and use them to plan and carry out a wide range of activities to enable the continued engagement of the people we support in meaningful occupation during lockdown.
