Acquiring funding for 5 specialist chairs from an additional winter pressures budget to loan for a 3 month period. The loan agreement is signed by the UHB and the care home or family.

Prompt discharge to placement or home preventing delayed transfer of care for the person, saving the cost of additional bed days and facilitating the availability of an inpatient admission for another individual
