The Challenge
I had a patient with advanced dementia on the ward who the nurses were struggling to transfer between the bed and the chair.
The Change
I played her favourite song for her and we sang along with her for a little while.
The Impact
She then transferred beautifully back into bed with a great big smile on her face and we even had a mini dance.
