The Change
A Borough's Regeneration Team employed a specialist housing occupational therapist to work with residents, designers, developers to identify tenants housing requirements, both through purchasing and adapting properties, and new build housing
The Impact
Housing which is attractive, adaptable, fit for purpose, person-centred & meets identified need. Included providing wet floor showers under baths at construction and standardising fixtures and fittings saving significant sums in future adaptations.
