The Challenge
Diana could not leave her home and had great difficulty with breathlessness. Diana wanted to work on her coping strategies by being able to set small goals to go outside. Her current home environment did not allow her to access the rooms she needed
The Change
Occupational Therapist completed a housing assessment and attended local special housing needs meetings. We were able to identify a suitable home all on the ground floor level which would meet Diana’s needs.
The Impact
Diana is in a new suitable environment and has been able to set small achievable goals every day to support her getting outdoors.
