The Challenge
Following a house adaptation, the resident still struggled to get in and out of his house independently using his wheelchair without help because of a high step at his front door.
The Change
I worked with the builders who had adapted the resident's house and arranged to improve the accessibility of the property's entrance.
The Impact
The resident can now get in and out of his house independently to go shopping, meet his friends and family, attend appointments and take part in hobbies in the community. It is a small change but it has made a huge difference to his quality of life.
