Our membership experience survey is now open!

We work with you to ensure people everywhere value the life-changing power of occupational therapy.

This means giving you the insights, training and membership experiences that best support your professional development – whatever stage you are in your career.

You can help us build and drive forward the membership organisation you actually need by telling us about your experiences and relationship with us through our membership experience survey.

The survey takes around 10 minutes to complete and will close at 5pm, Monday 30 October 2023.

Your voice really matters to us. As a thank you for sharing your views, you'll have the opportunity to enter a free prize draw after completing the survey.

There are five prizes to win. Those who enter will have the chance to win either:

  • a £500 voucher
  • a £300 voucher
  • a £100 voucher
  • one of two £50 vouchers.

The survey is anonymous. If you choose to enter the prize draw, we'll need your personal contact information, but this won't be linked to your responses.

How is this survey being conducted?

RCOT has overseen the design and given approval for the survey through our project ethics approval process. The research is being carried out by TPX Impact, an independent research agency.

Why are you conducting this survey now?

Revitalising our membership offer to meet the occupational therapy profession’s changing needs is a core part of our five-year strategy. The survey is one of the main ways we’re gathering insights into how we can create a compelling, ‘must-have’ membership, offer and this is our members’ opportunity to shape the future of RCOT membership.

What will happen to the results?

We’ll share key findings with members in early 2024 along with the actions that we’re planning to take based on your feedback.

Is this survey anonymous?

Yes.

Please be assured all answers are strictly anonymous and all data will be treated confidentially and stored securely in accordance with the Data Protection Act and General Data Protection Regulations.

How will you track what changes you make based off this survey and their success?

Our research partner, TPX Impact, will help us identify crucial insights from the survey which will allow us to make the changes needed to maximise our membership offer. More regular surveys and polls will ensure we can monitor how successful we are in meeting your needs through your membership.

When will you do another survey?

Your views are extremely important to us, so we’ll be looking to set up more frequent membership surveys, with annual full surveys taking place and shorter polls throughout the year so we can check how we’re doing.
