BAOT member benefits: Library services
We're encouraging members to make the most of their BAOT membership benefits this year, and what better benefit than the wealth of knowledge held at COT HQ?
The COT library hosts a unique collection of occupational therapy materials and resources to support the work and study of members. As well as our collection of books and journals, we have a collection of masters and doctoral research dissertations available for loan.
As well as hard copies of journals and publications held here, we also have access to a wide range of publications from across healthcare through our online database collection.
While our library provides a wealth of infomation, even if you can't visit us in London you can benefit from the expert knowledge of our librarians. They are on hand to provide advice and references, and regularly produce hOT Topics which provide a starting point and overview of key readings including articles, books and selected websites in specific areas of practice.
Our library staff can also undertake literature searches for members, which can be useful for topics not yet covered by the hOT Topics, and should you require a copy of items held in the library we can send copies out to you.
