Unmet need for support with daily activities signals failing care services

A report from the independent Age Charity and Strategic Society has found more than 2 million older people in England are struggling to carry out essential  activities.  These include ‘essential for life’ tasks such as cooking, eating and dressing.  Among the 2m, 70,000 people with severe needs are receiving no help at all while 30,000 are caring for others, putting their own health and wellbeing at risk.   ...
