Specialist Section – Neurological Practice - A lived experience of brain injury – a journey of finding occupational identity (South West region)

This event will explore an individual’s journey of discovering occupation following brain injury. 

You will hear from a guest speaker, recounting their experiences of inpatient rehabilitation. and how they navigated both physical and cognitive deficits. They will be joined by their inpatient occupational therapist, who will speak about the therapeutic process in this individual’s rehabilitation. The talk will then explore their transition from hospital to home and how they discovered their occupational identity. 

This event is for anyone working in neurological practice or related areas.
