Ejournals
4 additional ejournals from Emerald available to COT members
Thank you for participating in the Emerald journal trial and for providing feedback which has helped inform our decision to purchase additional ejournals for BAOT members.
We are pleased to announce that COT members now have continual access to an additional 4 Emerald ejournals previously available through the trial:
- British Journal of Forensic Practice 1999: 1 - present
- Journal of Assistive Technologies 2007: 1 - present
- Journal of Children's Services 2006: 1 - present
- Working with Older People 2000: 4 - present
All current ejournals, including the 4 new Emerald titles, can be accessed through journals and ejournals web page (You will need to be logged in to the COT website as a member to access ejournals)
Ebooks
Eleven additional ebooks titles have been added to the COT ebook collection and include some of the latest publications on occupational therapy from 2012 and 2013. To view these new titles see Ebooks

Visiting the library
We welcome visitors and enquiries from all members of the British Association of Occupational Therapists. Please bring your membership card when you visit the Library. Please help us by quoting your membership number in emails and phone calls.
Occupational therapists and OT students who are not members of BAOT/COT must join the BAOT before using the Library. The Membership Team can facilitate joining for prospective members visiting the COT.
Non-members who are not occupational therapists, but have an interest in occupational therapy, are welcome to visit the Library by appointment and on payment of a £10 access charge.
Library services for members with disabilities
The Library provides enhanced access to members with disabilities, including Jaws software to assist users with visual impairment.
