Professional Practice
Professional Practice supports the Professional Practice Board, Practice Publications Group, the Specialist Sections Business and Clinical Fora and Consultant Occupational Therapists Group
The aims of the Professional Practice team are:
- promoting excellence in practice (e.g. practice guideline development)
- providing professional advice and information (e.g. professional enquiry service, the Consultancy Service)
- influencing policy and stakeholders (e.g. responding to consultations and ensuring occupational therapy is represented on key government work groups)
- encouraging lifelong learning through practice-based conferences and study days (e.g. Social Services conferences, Marketing your Service)
- promotion of key COT practice-driven strategies (e.g. Strategy for Occupational Therapy in Mental Health Services, Interface to Integration)
