Share your experience and passion at our 2012 Annual Conference
While our 2011 Annual Conference has only just finished, the deadline for submissions to our 2012 conference is fast approaching. Anyone wishing to present at Conference has less than 10 weeks to prepare your abstract.
Our Annual Conference, and Specialist Section - Mental Health Annual Conference, will take place on 12-14 June 2012 at the SECC in Glasgow.
Whether you are a seasoned presenter, or if you are thinking of submitting an abstract for the first time, our Conference will provide you with a superb opportunity to share your work in a variety of formats, and offers a number of great benefits.
You can choose from the following formats:
- Paper presentation
10 minutes to introduce your work in a precise format followed by 5 minutes for questions.
- Seminar
40 minutes to present an in-depth exploration of your work. - Round table
A 40 minute forum for active debate, with up to 30 participants. - Workshop
A 90 minute interactive workshop, with up to 30 participants. - Facilitated poster discussion
5 minutes to introduce your poster followed by an opportunity to discuss your work with a facilitated group of up to 20 participants. - Innovative technology presentation
A poster site with a chance to demonstrate equipment or materials you have designed or produced.
- Poster display
Traditional poster presentation with dedicated viewing time throughout the conference
