General Info

HOURS:

Gallery hours are 9:00am to 5:00pm Monday to Friday.
On Sundays open for 6 or more people for previously arranged tours. Call Mary Westley at Extension 511 to arrange a tour.
Closed Saturdays, Jewish and Federal holidays except for Memorial Day and Veterans Day when the Museum is open from 1–5pm.

TOUR INFORMATION:

Tours can be arranged during gallery hours by contacting the administrator. Special arrangements can be made for school and other interested groups. Scholars may make appointments to utilize our archives. The museum is completely handicap accessible.

METRO, BUS AND CAR ACCESS:

Metro: Red line, exit Dupont Circle, Q Street. Walk one block north on Connecticut Avenue to R Street, turn right walk east two blocks to 18th Street.

CAR PARKING:

Metered street parking is available in the museum's immediate vicinity.

BUS:

All Connecticut Avenue busses stop at R Street NW. Walk two blocks east to 18th and R.
#2 Bus stops at the corner of 18th & R St. NW.
